Why auction?

Let buyers show you what your website is worth.

Real market competition

A timed auction allows interested buyers to compete openly rather than leaving you to negotiate privately with one buyer at a time.

Evidence-led listings

Important claims such as ownership, traffic and revenue can be supported by evidence so buyers know what they are assessing.

Serious buyer focus

The marketplace is designed around qualified buyers who understand that purchasing a website requires proper due diligence.

Controlled completion

The sale process can move from winning bid to due diligence, secure settlement and an agreed digital-asset handover.

Seller fees

Simple pricing when your website sells.

Registration is free. When a sale completes, AuctionMySite charges the seller a success fee based on the final sale price.

Registered sellers can also use the fee calculator in My listings to estimate the success fee and expected proceeds before an auction.

Seller success fee

6%

of the final sale price

£99 minimum

for GBP auctions

Auctions run in a single fixed currency. For EUR and USD auctions, the launch minimum success fees are €116 and $133 respectively.

The percentage fee is calculated from the final sale price. Separate third-party payment, escrow, tax or transfer costs may also apply where relevant.

    Create your seller account

Register free, complete your private account details and finish seller verification before a listing can go live.

  2. 2

    Prepare your website listing

Describe the business, what is included, traffic, revenue, costs, risks and the practical details a buyer needs to assess.

  3. 3

    Go live at auction

Once approved, your website can be offered through a timed auction where serious buyers can compete through transparent bidding.

  4. 4

    Complete the sale

After a successful auction, the transaction moves through buyer deposit, due diligence, secure settlement and digital-asset handover.

Clear information about visitor levels, traffic sources and relevant analytics history.
Revenue and costs
Accurate financial information showing how the website makes money and what it costs to operate.

What types of websites can I sell?

AuctionMySite is for genuine operating websites and online businesses, including content sites, ecommerce stores, SaaS products, directories, membership businesses and established local-business websites. Domain-only or unfinished projects are outside the marketplace scope.

Do I need to prove traffic or revenue?

Important listing claims should be supported by appropriate evidence where relevant. AuctionMySite can record verification status for areas such as ownership, traffic and revenue so buyers can distinguish verified information from seller-declared information.
